Here From The Start: 40+ Years In The Industry

Since 1985 Founder Barry Scrivener has been on the frontline of door and gate automation, seeing the automation go from “Mum hopping out of the car to open the door” to now just asking Siri or Google instead.

Our parent Company Kwik Fix Automation, is a highly regarded name within both the body corporate and domestic industry all across Melbourne. We have traded solely off our quality of work, good values and nothing more than a business card and word of mouth to spread the word for the last 40 years.

Being on the forefront of development we’ve worked very closely with many of the top industry leaders of products and technology, providing major research and development for some of our partner companies such as Smart Openers, Powertech, ATA and Microtech Designs.

40 Years? I haven’t heard of you before?

The Name Axcess Ezy may be new, but our Parent company Kwik Fix Automation has been in business since 1985. You may be wondering “why the change now?”; Over the last 40 years Kwik Fix, while servicing all areas of the industry, has largely operated within the body corporate space.

We started Axcess Ezy as a way to enable us to focus solely on the domestic market which allows us to give you the true time, care and attention to detail you and your home deserve. We understand how important and personal your home and security truly are and it is something that can come with no compromise.

We understand how no two jobs are the same and each require their own time, care, planning and the right products to achieve a result that not only leaves you feeling happy and secure but will actually last for many years to come. Sadly, this is something we don’t see often from others in the industry, which is why we are so passionate about providing the best possible service and support we can!

What We Do

We specialise in the supply, installation, service and repair of home garage door and gate automation systems. Thanks to our many years of experience, we’ve seen it all. Meaning we know what works, and will keep on working for years to come. Although we can provide any brand/system you would like, there are some that we could never recommend in good conscious. We only support and recommend the brands and products we believe to be the best through our experience of thousands of successful installations and service work.

What Happens To My Old Equipment/Automation After Being Upgraded?

We know there’s nothing worse than being stuck with all the mess and rubbish after the tradesmen leave. That’s why we ensure to remove all rubbish and old equipment from site. We always make sure that any time we leave a job, we leave it in a way that we would be happy to come home to, as if it were our own home.

Thanks to our many years in the industry, we’ve been able to build strong working relationships with local recycling businesses which allows us to guarantee that all rubbish and old equipment is sustainably recycled or disposed properly. Whether it’s an old gate operator, the box it came in or even just an old AA battery, we make sure it ends up where it’s supposed to, not just landfill or the side of the road. This means that we can not only just do our part to support the environment, but we can also help support other local businesses too.
